Er ist ein 6 Jahre alter Draft Cross mit all der Form und den Knochen, die man sich nur wünschen kann. Onyx ist ein sehr entspannter Kerl, der nicht reagiert und alles gelassen nimmt. Er ist für das Einzel- und Doppelfahren ausgebildet und wurde bei Wettbewerben im Doppelfahren eingesetzt (zusammen mit seinem Vollbruder Hudson, der vor ein paar Wochen hier verkauft wurde). Onyx ist so geduldig und freundlich wie man es nur sein kann und steht ruhig für alles auf dem Boden und das Auf- und Absitzen auf einem Block. Man kann die Zügel überall fallen lassen und er steht wie ein Gentleman. Onyx ist das ultimative Ausreit- oder Hindernispferd. Er hat praktisch keinen Spuk und geht über alles hinweg. Er hat einen langsamen Jog, der schön zu sitzen ist, und einen ausgedehnten Trab, mit dem man einiges an Strecke zurücklegen kann. Er hat einen ganzen Tag Arbeit auf der Ranch hinter sich, hat Rinder eingesammelt, ist die Highways hinuntergefahren und hat Wasser/Stämme/Teergräben/etc. überquert. Wir haben ihn sowohl auf Englisch als auch auf Western geritten und haben ihn über kleine Cross-Rails geritten. Er hat ein sehr süßes Verhalten und liebt Aufmerksamkeit, Pflege und etwas zu tun. Er ist sehr pflegeleicht und kommt mit allem zurecht. Er zieht ruhig, ist ein Gentleman für den Hufschmied und hat tadellose Manieren. Onyx ist es egal, ob er alleine oder in einer Gruppe ist. Onyx is a big, beautiful, jet black from head to toe gelding standing 16.1 hands tall. He is a 6 year old Draft Cross with all the shape and bone you could ask for. Onyx is a very laid back guy that is very non-reactive and chill about everything. He is trained to drive single and double and was used competitively in the double driving (with his full brother Hudson who sold on here a few weeks back). Onyx is as patient and kind as one comes and will stand quietly for everything on the ground and mounting and unmounting on a block. You can drop your reins anywhere and he will stand like a gentleman. Onyx is the ultimate trail riding or obstacle horse. He has virtually no spook and will cross anything. He has a slow jog that is lovely to sit and a large extended trot that can cover some ground. He has seen a days work on the ranch gathering cattle, gone down the highways, and has crossed water/logs/tarps/ditches/etc. We have ridden him both English and Western and started him over small cross rails. He has a very sweet demeanor and loves attention, grooming and going to do something. Easy keeper and gets along with everything. Hauls quietly, gentleman for the farrier and has impeccable manners. Onyx does not care if he is alone or in a group. I truly don’t have a bad thing to say about this big beautiful boy and think anyone who is around him will fall in love!
