Sam is a beautiful, grulla gelding, he is built like a brick house and is as gentle as one comes!
Sam has all the miles a good horse needs, he as been used for trail riding out on the rough country of Arizona, he is sure footed, and will maneuver through any trail you need him to ride on! He is brave and will ride out alone great, and will never miss a beat. He has zero spook and will walk through rocks, thick brush, fallen trees and deep water crossings, you point what way and Sam will take you.
Not only is Sam an an exceptional trail mount but he also rides gracefully in the arena, he has a beautiful headset and will lope pretty circles. Sam is one hand broke and supple in the bridle. We have had all levels of riders on Sam and he has always done a great job at keeping his rider safe.
Sam has been used on a ranch a portion of his life and knows all the aspects of a ranch horse, he has been doctored, branded and gathered on and will even stand patiently while you fix that fallen fence…
Sam is easy to mount and will stand by a mounting block and will wait for his rider to get on without any hesitation, he will stand quietly until his rider asks for more.
