Connery's father, Conthargos, is well known stallion so there is no need to describe him. 

Colt grandmother is a sister to the Olympic mare Sapphire, which won team gold under the American rider McLain Ward at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. Two years later, the same pair won team silver at the 2006 World Championships in Aachen. The victories of this pair are beyond counting. Another strong horse in this dam line is the stallion Glasgow van't Merelsnest, who quickly became the main stallion for the Dutch rider Jur Vrieling, with whom he won the Grand Prix of Rome and the World Cup in Helsinki. The highlight of 2019 was his victory with the Dutch national team in the final of the Longines Nations Cup in Barcelona, ​​where Glasgow jumped two fantastic rounds in the final.
