Blackjack is a super nice and friendly horse. Last summer, he went to dog camp in North Dakota, 1,262 miles away. He is an excellent traveler in and out of the trailer every day for dog training for 6 weeks. There he was, ridden on the prairies every day, as the trainer/trainers worked dogs, ground-tied as dogs stood on point, and as the trainer flushed the birds and fired a blank pistol. There is probably no better experience for a horse than being with a dog trainer for six weeks to gain extensive experience. You need a calm, willing, and understanding mount like Blackjack, to work dogs on the prairie. This horse has a very nice gait very smooth. Blackjack would be an excellent horse for any hunting or trail riding. Being around Blackjack he is a gem in the personality department. I have never had a kinder and more affectionate horse. In the pasture so many times he will walk up to you when you want to catch him. He is easy to shoe, according to my farrier. Crosses creeks without any hesitation doesn’t spook. Parks out, ground ties, easy to mount, and to saddle and bridle. You can easily ride him by himself because he attaches himself to you not to other horses. He wants to be the kind of horse that’s always in your pocket and just super easy.
