Vari is very easy to ride, is familiar with groundwork and long-lining, and is well-mannered. He has covered almost 2000 km on long-distance and multi-day rides with excellent recovery rates and best condition scores. He is always ranked. 

On trail rides, he remains calm and sure-footed. In traffic, he is relaxed, even when accompanied by dogs. He is well-trained and could go directly into distance riding or trail rides. In a group, he can be ridden in any position. When alone, he tends to be more leisurely.

In the arena or hall, he moves beautifully in all gaits and confidently completes TREC/Working Equitation (obstacle course) challenges. He has good hooves and is shod in summer and barefoot or with hoof boots in winter. His teeth are regularly checked, and he is also presented to the osteopath. The farrier and loading are no problem.

In summer, he is out on pasture all day, and in winter, he is in a loose housing system with access to pasture. He spent the first four years growing up on large pastures at the breeder's.

He is very kind and sociable with other horses and is rather low in the pecking order. In 2021, he was diagnosed with equine asthma, but he has no issues with pasture, haylage, or wet or steamed hay. He consistently demonstrates excellent values on distance rides.

He is being sold only because I can no longer give my three horses the time they deserve.
