Maverick wins the hearts of all that have met him and grew to be a barn favorite! With his charming personality and sweet kind disposition he is the total package! He is a coming 5 year old Reg Friesian Sport Horse that stands 16 hands. We purchased Maverick from his breeder so he hasn’t been passed around and has been in professional training. He has been a lot of fun to work with and has so much potential.
We have done a little of everything with him. Rides English, western and bareback. Nicely started in the ring walk, trots and canters. Has had some dressage training and comes round nicely in a frame with three comfortable gaits. He has been started over fences and is very willing to hop over anything you put in front of him. Tons of trail trail riding and has been trailered off the farm to go on lots of adventures! Maverick will lead or follow over bridges, creeks and tunnels. He is sure footed and tough. He also has a nice neck rein on him to navigate around and thru obstacles along the way. Will go out in a group or alone.
The kids at the farm did a fun Christmas photo shoot with him and let me tell you he hammed it up!! Loving every minute of the attention. His fun charming personality makes him the fun choice to pick with these kinda things.
Maverick is 100 percent sound with no issues or maintenance. He is lovely to have in the barn with wonderful manners. Stands for the blacksmith and vet in crossties like a perfect gentleman. Gets along well with others in the field and isn’t herd bound. Clips, bathes and hops right up on the trailer. Ridden and handled by everyone at the farm. No special instructions with this guy.
Sells with a current Coggins and will include a health certificate. Is up to date on vaccines, shoeing and worming. We did a pre purchase exam on February 4th 2025 he comes with a clean vetting and clean feet and hock X-rays.
