Since owning Lariat he has been our 6 year old daughters main horse. She has had him camping, trail riding, rode out and checked the cows on him, you name it and she can do it with him! We have walked out in the pasture and caught him after not being ridden for a month and our daughter has ridden him bareback in a halter, back to the barn while the other horses run or trot around him. Lariat has proven himself time and time again as a confidence builder that has been kid safe for our girl. He is so easy to ride that he is simply automatic… you think it and he does it for you. He will rein around easily with one hand, he will open/shut gates, lopes off easily and is very smooth in his lope as well. He has a good stop, he lopes nice circles and rides on a loose/draped rein or even in a halter. He is a pretty palomino color and has that friendly personality that everyone wants! Lariat stadns around 15H, is stocky built and is 15 years young and everyone always wants a horse that is broke like him but only 5 years old… NEWS FLASH folks- the miles and experience makes the horse, so Lariats years of experience are what makes him so great and trustworthy! He is ready to go hit the trails, work on the ranch or go ride in 4-H. He has done it all out on the ranch! He has pasture roped and doctored sick ones, sorted pairs as well! Lariat has been ridden in multiple states from Oklahoma to Kentucky. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. Lariat has zero spook in him, no matter where you take him he is a steady Eddie! He is super quiet on the ground as well and is easy to bathe, clean his feet and tack up. He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He has zero bad habits, no cribbing, weaving, is not cinchy and has absolutely no buck in him!
